    Profile Summary: Highline Public Schools seeks a creative and skilled communications professional to be its next communications manager. The communications manager develops and publishes strategic content in support of Highline’s strategic plan. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and a natural storyteller, who is mission-driven, equity-focused, and dedicated to the Highline Promise. Working closely and effectively with another communications manager and the whole of the Communications team; they must be committed to a collaborative approach through teamwork. The communications manager will support other district departments and schools with communication needs including developing communication strategies, objectives, messaging and collateral. This individual should be an excellent writer and creative thinker who can develop content for a variety of platforms and publications including websites, social media channels and email newsletters. The communications manager will also capture stories through compelling photos and videos. The ideal candidate will have the technical skill set for shooting, writing and editing video content. Some graphic design experience is preferred.
